This is on a 50 x 65 cm sheet of extremely heavy mixed media bamboo paper - took me > 4 hrs last night. Faber Castell 4B graphite in one of their (rare) 3,15 mm lead holders/clutch pencils). What I noticed is, that there are at least 2 points in the process where I want to give up (halfway through the the contour block-in, just after ther start of modelling/shading) - but that If I keep going and doing my best, it won't be a disaster. On the other hand, if I had the patience to break it down over several days - and spend, say, 12 or 18 hours on it, it would probably be so much better. I'm too impatient and too heavy-handed.

ReplyDeletetu as vu l'essentiel - si la musique et le langage (poésie) du son, la peinture est le langage (poésie) de la lumière. Je crois que c'est le dessin le plus intéressant que j'ai fait...
